The print is silver ink printed on beige paper, over printed with black finished with a layer of white.

The print is 70cm x 50cm and an edition of 30.

It was a pleasure to work with the Vyner Street festival team to produce (as Cure Studio) a hand pulled screenprinted poster.

There were three colours each printed in a run of 200 with a combination print that mixed up all the colours making each one unique. These were editioned and sold at the event.

Shown right are the pictures showing the prints being printed and then the prints at the day itself.

Using Google maps as a full screen navigational device; each project is placed in context around the globe. Where possible images are drawn from existing sources, Google street-view and Flickr and the entire website is controlled by an online spreadsheet.

At Emak Mafu our brief was to create an engaging website that showcases work and encourages communication. We used a visual language that is associated with video while ensuring their amazing work is firmly centre stage. We also pushed the staff biographies with flags about how and who to contact within the organisation.

Alongside the website, we worked with Maverick to update their visual identity and re-worked their logo and guidelines.

We want people to help us tell a story. One illustrator draws a section of the comic then the baton is passed to someone else to continue the story… repeat. once 10 stories have been completed they will be screenprinted and an exhibition will be held.

The lucky 50 got stunning music from Ambiguous Records’ incredible stable of talent including Alice Gun, Roxy Rawson, Orphans and Vandals and The Moores – all of whom were performing on the night.

We had over 400 entries from over over 42 countries – including the US, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Italy, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan and the Philippines.

We screenprinted 50 artists work each in an edition of 50 with alot of help from our friends including the wonderful Ornamental Conifer, Handwash Studio, Patrick Saville and many many more!

The private view was on Thursday 7th of May and attracted many more people than we anticipated; helped by Design Week featuring the show on the backpage of their print edition and Creative Review raising the profile on their blog. The music was provided by the incredibly talented (musically and visually) Rob Francis (who is also one half of Get Mullerd and Dance) and alongside the 50 screenprints we had an additional sculpture from Baldrick Buckle who had cast The Brick phone, in brick.

Throughout the 3 weeks of the exhibition we held talks, print demonstrations, industry events and an incredible live music night with Ambiguous Records.

The exhibition has been a complete success with press coverage nationally and internationally and some of the show going onto Boston (USA) and at the time of writing potentially Tokyo.

› We set up the show in a record 5 hours; with alot of help from lots of people – thank you

Alongside the broader brand strategy Cog also produce the visuals and graphic design for 8 national tours a year. Each tour would usually have a visual that we would usually generate in house; this could be illustrative, photographic or graphic and we usually produce a flyer (which could be A5, 4 page A6 or 8 page A7), a poster and a microsite.
